Information for University Student Members

APA TAS Student Membership is honorary.

APA TAS recommends reading the Association Rules and By-Laws prior to submitting an application.

APA TAS offers free membership to Paramedic University Students who are currently enrolled in any Australian University undertaking a course that results in Paramedic qualifications/employment. 

Benefits and Restrictions;

• Website membership and access to News and Email campaigns.
• Access to help for Industrial Questions or Industry Guidance.
• Invitation to APA social and clinical events.
• No legal services are provided to Student Members.
• No Voting Rights apply to Student Membership.

If a Student Member achieves employment in any capacity with Ambulance Tasmania after graduation, please contact us to upgrade to full financial membership if desired. Please see fees and services offered on the Join Now section of the website.
